Wizkid bags NAACP Image Award nomination

Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has become the first Nigerian artist to be nominated for a NAACP Image award.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Award is an award to honour outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.

Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl” which features Wizkid, Saint John and Blue Ivy, bagged the nomination for “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration” at the 2020 edition.

Wizkid was nominated alongside top artistes such as Chris Brown, Drake, Alicia Keys, J. Cole and Miguel.
