Nigerians have taken to microblogging social network, Twitter to troll Mighty Jets football club of Jos over the age of their goalkeeper, Gobum Rotduwe.,
The Jos based football club, had in a series of Twitter posts, unveiled their new kits ahead of the start of the Nigerian National League season.
In the posts which also come with the profile of players who were used as models for the new kits, eagle-eyed Nigerians were able to spot Rotduwe’s age.
According to the club, the goalkeeper was born on September 13, 1995, which means he is 25 years old at the moment.
This moved fans to take a swipe at the club, saying Rotduwe is much older.
The club wrote;
