Nigerians react as Hushpuppi appears in the background of Instagram photos posted today

Nigerians were on Saturday, left wondering for a brief moment if suspected cyber fraudster, Ramon Abbas aka Hushpuppi has been released from jail after pictures showing him in public surfaced online.

The popular US-based barber shop known as Slidercuts took to Instagram to share a photo of the owner after an event for Louis Vuitton in Paris, France and Hushpuppi was spotted in the background of the photo.

In the Instagram pictures, Hushpuppi could be seen interacting with a foreigner whole on the side walk.

Recall that the Instagram celebrity was arrested in Dubai in June 2020, and extradited to the United States of America where he was charged with running a global fraud operation, including targeting a Premier League football club, a bank and a US law firm.

Slidercuts, however, allayed fears of Nigerians when he revealed that the photo was from a previous show, which was probably done before the arrest of Hushpuppi.
