Lagos Govt Opens Up On How Abba Kyari Died

The Lagos State Government has explained how the late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari passed on in its facility.

The head of the state Covid-19 committee and Commissioner for Health of Lagos State, Professor Akin Abayomi, hours after Kyari was committed to mother earth on Saturday, said the explanation became necessary following enquiries on the passing away of the Chief of Staff to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mallam Abba Kyari on Friday 17th April 2020, the Lagos State Government states that:

Professor Akin explained that Mallam Abba Kyari died from complications of Coronavirus infection at First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos.
This hospital is a Lagos State designated high care, biosecurity-compliant, COVID-19 facility, accredited by the Health Facility Management and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA) of the Lagos State Ministry of Health.
As a basis for accreditation, First Cardiology Consultants established a separate specialist wing with staff dedicated to the treatment of complicated cases of COVID-19, under the supervision of the Lagos State COVID-19 emergency response team.

Meanwhile, a mild drama took place a few hours after the burial of late Kyari at Gudu  district, Abuja.
A source said the man was arrested by the Police after he derobbed his funeral robs after the burial.

Security sources at the FCT Covid-19 Team said a team was dispatched to remove the dropped protective gear in Gudu Cemetery and fumigate the area after an earlier alarm was 9raised by Nigerians the man pulled his PPE and left it at the fence of the burial ground after interment of late Abba Kyari on Saturday.
