JAPA: 4 Nigerians Seated On Ship Rudder For 14 Days On The Atlantic Ocean Rescued In Brazil

Four Nigerians were captured on camera perched precariously on the rudder of a ship as it sailed from Lagos to Brazil.

The four Nigerians had higher hope to travel to Europe by simply sitting on the ship’s rudder, but instead, they ended up in South America.

They stayed there for 14 days while traveling 5,600 kilometers, and on the 10th day, they even ran out of food, forcing them to start drinking seawater.

Two of them expressed a desire to return to Nigeria after being saved in Brazil. The men identified as Roman Ebimene Friday and Thankgod Opemipo Matthew Yeye, the two remaining individuals, requested asylum in Brazil.

While Friday, one of the men is reportedly from Bayelsa state. Yeye, another victim is also reportedly a Pentecostal minister from Lagos.
