Explosion rocks primary school in Sabon Gari, Kano State, pupils feared dead (Video)

A fatal explosion has occured at a primary school on Aba Road, Sabon Gari area of Kano State and many children are feared injured and even worse, dead.

According to some videos that have been shared on micro-blogging website, Twitter, it happened in the early hours of Tuesday, May 17th 2022.

It was later confirmed by the police that the explosion was caused by a leak from a Gas Cylinder.

I stay in Sabon Gari Kano . The explosion shook our house . Happened in Winners primary school . Aba Road . Students died. This country won’t be the end of us . We didn’t commit any crime being Nigerians . May their soul rest in perfect peace . Amen !

Students . 4 – 5 years old . A student of the school lives in my compound , chimobi came back filled with sand & tears . Man crawled his way out of the collapsed building . He was looking for his classmates nowhere to be found
