Comedian, Josh2Funny and wife welcome first child

Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Josh Alfred, popularly known as Josh2Funny, has welcomed a baby boy with his wife.

The couple made the announcement via their respective social media pages on Tuesday, May 17.

Sharing the good news with his fans and Instagram followers, the excited new dad wrote, “Now let’s officially welcome the owner of these legs, a new Minister, a King and more, an Optununuan Eden Alfred.”

While the new mum simply wrote, “Welcome son”.

Josh2funny and his Ethiopian wife, Bina Nayee, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Koyi, Lagos in December 2020.

In other news, American rapper, DaBaby, has made the day of a traffic hawker after he paid $100 for a few sachets of popcorn in Lagos.

The rapper, who arrived Nigeria on Monday, May 16, to shoot a music video with popular singer, Davido, seems to be having a swell time in the country as he has been sharing video updates online.

The “Rockstar” crooner went on a drive with his entourage in Lagos on Tuesday, May 17, and decided to buy popcorn from a traffic vendor.

However, the rapper who only had hundred dollar bills in his possession, gave the hawker $100 (N60,000 according to the new conversion rate) for few sachets of popcorn.

The hawker was pleasantly surprised by the hard currency and took his time to assess it with a huge smile on his face.
