Nigerian artiste and self-acclaimed African Giant, Damini ‘Burna Boy’ Ogulu has been nominated for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category of the 2021 Grammys.
In the nominee list announced this evening on Grammys.com, Burna’s ‘Twice As Tall’ album secured a nomination against Antibalas’s ‘FU Chronicles’, Bebel Gilberto’s ‘Agora’, and Anoushka Shankar’s ‘Love Letters’ in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category.
In the 2020 edition, Burna Boy, who was nominated in the ‘Best World Music Album’ category for his ‘African Giant‘ album, lost to Angelique Kidjo, a Beninese singer-songwriter.
The artiste has taken to Twitter to celebrate the new development. He shared a photo of himself ina swagger-like dance position and wrote; “Another one ……. #TWICEASTALL

Twice As Tall, the singer’s fifth album is executive-produced by US media mogul and rapper, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Bosede Ogulu, Burna Boy’s mother.
