The reality star and entrepreneur took to her Instagram story to express her joy and reflect on her previous struggles with visa applications.

Dorathy revealed that in 2019, she faced a challenging time in her life when she decided to quit her job after being demoted for what she considered a ridiculous reason. She felt confused about her future and didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life.
During that period, Dorathy made the bold decision to apply to a school in Canada, even though she wasn’t sure where the funds would come from. Despite the uncertainties, she bought the IELTS form and began preparing for the exam.
Dorathy found inspiration in a friend of her sister, who had successfully obtained a passport from the Canadian embassy. The friend’s testimony served as a source of hope for Dorathy, and she used it as a point of connection for her own aspirations.
Although Dorathy had planned to take her exams in 2020, her participation in Big Brother Naija changed her course, and she temporarily put her dreams of studying in Canada on hold to pursue a career as a reality star.
