The first wife is the only wife in a polygamous marriage that deserves respect – Lady says, gives reason

A Nigerian lady identified as Eloho Dié, has spoken on the member of a polygamous family that she would accord respect.

She said that the first wife in a polygamous marriage is the only wife she would give respect because the others are covetous women.

Eloho further explained that it does not matter if the man proposed to them, what counts is the idea that they likely accepted it because they wanted another woman’s possession.

”When it comes to polygamous marriages the only wife I give my respect to is the first wife. The rest are just covetous women.

I don’t care if the man is the one who asked you to marry him. If you didn’t want another woman’s possession you’d reject the offer!”
