Tekno receives gold plaque for Davido’s ‘If’
Popular Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer, Tekno has gotten recognised by the Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA, for his work on Davido’s Gold-certified single ”If”.
Davido made this known via his Instagram story, as he shared a photo of the plaque while tagging Tekno with a heart emoji.
Tekno who suggested that Davido record ”If” as writing the hit single.

IF which is the 5th single off Davido’s A Good Time album, attained Gold certification in the United States of America from the RIAA on the 17th of January 2021 after selling 500,000 copies in the country
The duo had first worked together in 2013
when Tekno featured Davido is his debut single, Holiday.
