Teenage girl drops wallet, jumps into river after receiving mysterious phone call.
A Nigerian lady reportedly lost her life after alighting from a motorcycle around Gbodofon area of Abeokuta and jumping into a river.
Vanguard reports that the lady committed the act after receiving a call from a yet-to-be-identified person.
According to eyewitnesses, they were looking at her from a distance and didn’t really know what she said or heard on the call.
“She just dropped her phone into her wallet, dropped the wallet on the ground and jumped into the river” Lamina Kamiludeen, a witness said.

Others said they couldn’t jump in to save her because of the water level and instead, alerted the state fire service and the agency’s operatives got to the scene.
All efforts to get her body after the state fire service came proved abortive cause according to them, her body was lost in the river.
