The trend on social media lately has seen people setting their smart TVs to a cracked TV mode, to give the impression that it has been broken to see the reactions of their partners or the owner of the television.

A young lady shared the moment she attempted pranking her father using the same methodology.
In the video she shared, the young lady was in the sitting room and her father was heard answering a call in the bedroom.
She then made a sound as though something had broken, while following it with a plaintive cry to make it seem as if she had made a huge mistake.
Her father immediately rushed into the sitting room to see what had and happened, and it shocked him to find that it was his TV that broke.
He began asking her how she broke his TV. Her reply was satisfactory and he immediately called her mom on the call to report her.
