Qatar2022: Lionel Messi Reacts To Argentina Qualification To The World Cup Final

The Captain of the Argentine national team, Lionel Messi has reacted to his qualification to the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Messi took to his official Instagram account, some hours after the 3-0 victory against Croatia. He thanked everyone who had supported the team since the start of the competition till the end.

To the End!!! We came here to draw strength to play another great match. Thank you to everyone who trusted this group. Come on Argentina.

The forward player has been hunting for the World Cup since he broke into the lime light at the 2006 competition which was hosted in Germany. He took his goal scoring record for Argentina to 11 goals surpassing Gabriel Batistuta’s goals (10) for the South American country.

Messi and the supporters of Argentina will hope they can win the World Cup for the third time. Both times they have won the lucrative trophy was in 1978 and 1986 respectively which was hosted by Argentina and Mexico.
