Police search for man who attacked a gay man

A New York man is being looked for by the police for attacking another man at a store over his sexuality.

The NYPD released a photo and video Sunday night of the man reported to have punched a 24-year-old while hurling homophobic remarks.

The suspect, seen in Midtown near West 34th Street and Ninth Avenue in a white shirt and black shorts, allegedly attacked the male victim at a CVS on April 24th around 7 p.m., cops said previously.

The victim had entered the store at 5 Pennsylvania Avenue when the suspect, walking in the opposite direction, punched him in the back of the head and neck, surveillance video shows.

“F–king gays,” the suspect said before taking off, according to police sources.
