Davido was initially scheduled to perform at the World Cup opening ceremony but, unfortunately, could not make it due to the demise of 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi.
The DMW boss will perform the Qatar World Cup anthem ‘Hayya Hayya (Better Together)’ at the closing ceremony on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
The 30-year-old will grace the stage with American singers, Trinidad Cardona and Qatar singer, Aisha.
Other music stars like Jennifer Lopez and Shakira have earlier performed at FIFA World Cup closing ceremonies.
