23-year-old Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, put up an incredible performance against Manchester United during Thursday’s Europa League showdown at Old Trafford.

The vintage form of the Nigerian goalkeeper almost helped his club, Omonia Nicosia walk out of Old Trafford with a famous point in its first of group stage play in Manchester, before a last-gasp effort by super-sub Scott Mctominay.

Before the last-minute goal, Uzoho stopped Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford from scoring, and in the process accrued an impressive 12 saves, with nine of them coming from inside the box.

Despite the 1-0 win, Uzoho was the talking point and enthusiasts have dug up an old tweet where he promised to put his life on the line if he ever plays at Old Trafford.
