Marco Asensio departs Real Madrid, joins Paris Saint-Germain

Real Madrid attacking midfielder, Marco Asensio, has left the club as a free agent and is expected to join Paris Saint-Germain.

The news was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet on Saturday. Romano revealed that Asensio had made the decision to leave Real Madrid the previous week.

The 27-year-old is now set to finalize the details of his move to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days.

Marco Asensio has lifted 17 trophies at Real Madrid: 3 European Cups, 4 Club World Cups, 3 Uefa Super Cups, 3 LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups.

His fans we will never forget his career and his outstanding conduct during all this time.

Asensio had a decent season with Real Madrid, featuring in 50 matches, starting 18 of them, scoring 12 goals, and providing eight assists under the management of Carlo Ancelotti.
