An yet-to-be identified man allegedly passed on after he slumped by the roadside in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
He was said to have suddenly fallen to the floor while heading to an unknown destination with a black bag.

The incident happened in the afternoon on Tuesday, 11th of April 2023, along Rumuigbo Junction in Obio-Akpor local government
Eyewitnesses said that when the man, who is in his 60s fell to the ground, he struggled for a while to stand up but couldn’t.
It was gathered the people who surrounded the deceased were only snapping pictures instead of making attempts to revive him or take him to hospital.
“This afternoon, the man was walking by the roadside. Later he fell down. Some people gathered around him. He was struggling to stand up but couldn’t. He later died
“Nobody knew him. People were afraid to touch him because if police come now they may arrest you for questioning. So nobody wanted problem. The man died there,” an eyewitness, Grace explained.
The state police spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident, adding that the command has ordered investigation into the death.
