“Madonna sent me a DM twice” – Fireboy DML says.
Nigerian Afrobeat artiste, Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML has revealed that he met American pop star, Madonna after she sent him a DM.
The YBNL artiste said that she sent him a DM on two different occasions, one in 2019 and the second time in 2022.
He said that the message he received from her in 2019 was just about her telling him that she is a fan who loves his music.
However, the second message in 2022 was when she informed the Vibration crooner that she wanted them to collaborate on a project.
Speaking with TMZ while leaving an event in USA, Fireboy said that his collaboration with her became possible because she requested a feature.
The Pop icon featured the Nigerian singer on the remix of Frozen.

Fireboy DML said that they are friends and it was an amazing thing to be a part of classic and it was basically helping to push Afrobeat to the world.
He said he is honored to have worked with her because she is a classic woman and a superstar.
