The list of 30 most talented footballers in Europe from 2017 had some surprise inclusions.
Back then, Chelsea were the top dogs in England after as they clinched the 16/17 Premier League title.
Real Madrid were the top club in Europe after winning the Champions League final against Juventus with Cristiano Ronaldo stealing the show.
In February 2017, SCI Sports compiled a list of the 30 most talented players in Europe and it is a fascinating read.
The likes of Marcus Rashford, Martin Odegaard, Youri Tielemans and Donny van de Beek are some of the names currently playing in the Premier League to be included.
Meanwhile, players such as Theo Hernandez, Ousmane Dembele, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Renato Sanches were also named in the top 30.
However, the player ranked number one was quite a surprise.
Then Manchester United rising star Cameron Borthwick-Jackson was the most talented player in Europe back in 2017 according to SCI Sports after being given a SCISKILL Potential score of 158.
Hernandez was second with a score of 156.9 and Dembele completed the top three with 146.8.
At the time, Borthwick-Jackson was sent out on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he only made seven appearances.
Since then, he has had loan spells with Leeds United, Scunthorpe United, Tranmere Rovers and Oldham Athletic.
At the start of the 19/20 season, Borthwick-Jackson left United to join Oldham on a permanent deal.
Now 26 years old, Borthwick-Jackson left Oldham for Burton Albion before moving to Polish side Slask Wroclaw in July.
