A Nigerian couple have welcomed their first child after 50 years of marriage.

After several years of trying to conceive, the wife was blessed with a bundle of joy.

In a video making rounds online, the new mother was welcomed home with a party as she held her baby.

There were friends and family there to celebrate with the couple.
