Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic tests positive for Coronavirus

Premier side, Fulham have confirmed striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has tested positive for coronavirus.

 

Fulham said he brief statement that Serbian international’s absence in the team’s 2-0 win against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday night was due to a positive Coronavirus test.

 

This means, the club will be without the Serbian striker for their next two league games against Burnley on Wednesday and their home clash against bottom club Sheffield United on Saturday as they continue to battle out of the relegation zone.

 

In July 2018,  Mitrovic joined Fulham in a five-year contract after a successful loan spell from Newcastle United
