Employees run for cover as cow breaks loose at Lagos airport (Video)
A video making the rounds on social media shows the moment a cow created panic after breaking loose at Lagos international airport cargo area.
According to reports, the cow was one of 250 cows flown into the country through the Murtala Mohammed International.
Tribune reports that the cows which were flown in from New Jersey, United States, by the Ekiti State government in crates on a chartered cargo special flight, were being offloaded at the Gate 3 between the Skypower Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) and the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) sheds when the incident occurred.
In the viral video, the cow appeared out of nowhere and started running around the cargo terminal open air area while the employees were seen trying to run for cover.
Some persons moved as though they were trying to stop the cow before it caused damage, but they eventually backed down as the cow went towards a fence.
