In a heartwarming display of traditional culture and respect, a video of a little boy‘s prostration to an elder has gone viral on TikTok.
The boy, a Yoruba from Nigeria, was captured on camera demonstrating the traditional way of greeting elders in his culture.

In the video, the little boy walks up to the stranger who just entered the house and prostrates as a way of greeting him.
The stranger, visibly surprised and touched by the gesture, smiles and hugs the boy.
Prostrating is a traditional form of greeting among the Yoruba people in Nigeria and signifies respect and humility.
The little boy’s demonstration of this traditional greeting has sparked a lot of positive reactions from TikTok users who have praised him for his manners and culture.
