“Can’t confide in you in peace?” – Man Sues His Baby Mama For Telling ‘everyone’ He Won $1.3bn Lottery

A man who won one of the largest lottery payouts in U.S. history, a substantial sum of $1.35 billion Mega Millions jackpot earlier this year, has taken legal action against his baby mama.

According to reports by CBS News, the lottery winner, whose identity is protected by pseudonyms, alleges that the mother of his child ‘baby mama’ breached a nondisclosure agreement by revealing the windfall to family members.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Portland, where court papers indicate that the defendant disclosed the confidential information to the winner’s father and stepmother.

The identities of both parties involved remain shrouded in secrecy, with the court papers only revealing that the winner resides in Maine, while the defendant resides in Massachusetts.

The defendant has until December 6th to respond to the legal action.

To safeguard his anonymity, the lottery winner and the child’s mother supposedly entered into a nondisclosure agreement shortly after he purchased the winning ticket at a gas station in Lebanon, Maine.

The complaint filed by the winner, represented by attorney Gregory Brown of Knoxville, Tennessee, seeks an injunction and a minimum of $100,000 in damages.

Overcoming formidable odds of approximately 1 in 302.6 million, the lottery winner secured the grand prize in the Mega Millions lottery last January.

This victory marked a historic moment for Maine, as it was the first time a ticket purchased in the state matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot, ranking among the largest in Mega Millions history.
