Forte suspected that it was an abduction orchestrated by her 13-year-old stepdaughter, Joy, who has also been declared missing.

According to the distraught mother, she discovered that after the two of them disappeared, her ATM card, some cash and Excel’s clothes were also missing.

Forte said she reported the matter at the Mosalasi Police Station and told the officers that there were suspicious interactions between Joy and a neighbour prior to the incident, but not much progress has been made.

She said; “My child cannot go missing like that because I am physically challenged. I can’t see, I don’t have money, and now my baby is taken away from me. I am sure Joy is the one who carried my child, not anybody else.

“I don’t know what else to do again. That’s why I’m calling on Nigerians for support, to help me secure my child’s return. I will be so happy if my baby comes back to me, please”.
