We reported earlier today that a petty trader lamented after her carton of fish was stolen by an unknown thief in Benue state on May 25, 2021.

Hours after Governor Samuel Ortom’s aide, Smith Akom Takema, initially shared the story online, he took to Facebook and disclosed that his friends and associates have donated cash to the widowed petty trader.

He shared photos of the moment the woman was receiving the cash donation.

The unidentified widow also received some cash from the resident pastor of Dunamis International Church, Gboko, to support her business.
