Why feminists should fight very hard to eradicate bride price – Man explains

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to advise feminists on the need to fight against bride price in the country.

He urged feminists to fight very hard to ensure that the payment of bride is eradicated because the practice translates to selling the girl child.

According to him, such tradition needs to be fought against because its like promoting the sale of females like products in the market.

The man with Twitter handle @Wizebaba said it should be done for the sake of gender equality.

He tweeted;

”I think Feminists should fight very hard to eradicate Bride price. It simply means the female child is been sold out like a product in the market.
