US-based Nigerian CEO laments after his accounts in America were closed because he received wire transfers from Nigeria
A Nigerian businessman who resides in the United States has called out his bank over the closure of his accounts after he received money from Nigeria.
According to the young man identified as @eldivyn, he has lived in the US for 12 years and has been a customer with his bank for 7 years, yet his accounts were closed because he received wire transfers from Nigeria.
He is the CEO of @Risevest and Co-Founded @buycoins_africa.

Taking to Twitter to lament, he tweeted
Haha I’ve lived in America for at least 12 years and banked with @TDBank_US for at least 7 of those years but they decided to close all my accounts because I got wires from Nigeria. In 2021. We are still doing this nonsense.”

Sometimes the trigger isn't the country, it's the specific account (s) the money came from and what those accounts have been used for in the past.
Talk to them and seek to reassure them it's above board if that's still an option.
