There won’t be any trial – Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer
Aloy Ejimakor, a legal representative to Nnamdi Kanu, has said there will be no trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
The lawyer explained that no trial would hold due to the manner Kanu was rearrested and repatriated to Nigeria.
Ejimakor who stated this in a tweet, reiterated that the IPOB leader’s trial fixed for July 26th should be opposed not monitored.
He said: “Kanu’s trial is supposed to be OPPOSED, not monitored. Those of you wanting to monitor his trial or wishing him fair trial, thank you.
“But sorry to disappoint you: There won’t be any trial. Never. If any trial occurs, it’s those that renditioned him that will be on trial.”
