Suspected robbers set ablaze in Benue
Two suspected armed robbers were on Monday May 1, burnt to death at Kanshio, a suburb of Makurdi in Benue State.
The thieves reportedly gained entrance into a residence in Kanshio in an attempt to rob a family after shooting sporadically to wade off intervention in the early hours of Monday.

They were however pursued and caught opposite Divine Mercy Minor Seminary school at Kanshio where they were eventually set ablaze.
It was also learnt that while two of the suspects were caught, one escaped. Police Public Relations Officer PPRO for Benue Command, SP Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident.
Anene said;
“Incidents confirmed. Investigation is ongoing, please.”
