‘Sharia Is For The Poor’ – Man Reacts To A Video Of Singer Zlatan On Stage Performing For Some Muslim Youths In Kano (Video)
A video making rounds online showing singer Zlatan Ibile performing in Kano has attracted several reactions from social media users.
In the video, the sizeable crowd, who consisted of northern youths in their regalia were filmed singing and dancing as Zlatan thrilled them with some of his songs including the smash hit ‘Bolanle’ and the crowd vibed along with him.
In swift reaction, some social media users have reacted, among them was a twitter user, identified as @jagganiyu, he claimed the Sharia law doesn’t affect all Nigerian Muslims, stating that the law was formulated for the poor alone.

Sharia law, which is in practice in most Northern states including Kano, forbids such gathering, regarding it as unislamic and several people have been arrested by Hisbah officers for similar acts.
