A Nigerian man took to social media to announce his wedding with some photos not knowing it would generate some controversy.

The young man simply identified as Nelson revealed that he got married on February 27, 2022 and a simple ceremony was held.

In the viral photos he shared on Twitter, Nelson and his bride wore simple outfits and her facial expression gave people the impression she was not happy.

It sparked mixed reactions, with Twitter users asking controversial questions about how much was spent and why he chose to wed in such a modest manner.
