Police Officer caught on camera assaulting woman and calling her ‘ashawo’ in Enugu (video)

THE Police in Enugu State has launched investigation into the case of its officer caught in a viral video assaulting a young woman.

In the video, the policeman is heard calling the woman a prostitute.

According to reports, the incident happened at a checkpoint in Obeagu Awkunanaw, along Agbani Road, on September 8.

Spokesperson of the command, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, said the Commissioner of Police, Abubakar Lawal, ordered immediate investigation and sanction of policeman involved.
