Osun Mosque welcomes Muslims with quote from the Bible

Nigerians have taken to social media to react after the photo of a mosque in Osun state with a verse from the Bible surfaced online.

The mosque decided to engrave a biblical verse from the book of John and used it to welcome Muslim faithful.

A man shared a photo of himself standing by the entrance of the Central Mosque in Imesi Ile, Osun state.

On the sign block was the quote from John 8:32 and it reads; ”Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”

Amazed by the inter-religious inclusion, Nigerians flooded the Twitter timeline to share their thoughts.

@azpeters said; Whoever you’re looking for, you’ll definitely find there… Inter religious point. Maybe this’ll solve the religious madness in the country…
