Renowned Islamic scholar, Mufti Menk has called on people to be more empathetic as the pandemic COVID-19 continues to spread across nations. According to Mufti Menk, the ravaging coronavirus is here to serve as a test of peoples humanity. He advised people to embrace selflessness and be generous in whatever little way they can. Over the past 24 hours, coronavirus deaths reportedly passed 10,000, leading to an increase in fear and panic.
Taking to his Twitter account, the scholar wrote; “Now is the time to show you truly care about humanity. Remember, it’s not all about you. “Be of help to the people you care about; family, friends, neighbours, the elderly, the aged, the homeless. The list is endless. Find it in your heart to give generously whatever you can!” See his tweet;
