A Nigerian man has taken to microblogging platform, Twitter to share his observation about fans of music stars, Davido and Wizkid.

According to the man identified as Morris Monye, people openly ”stan” and support Wizkid online, however, when they are in need of some form of assistance, they would rather contact the DMW boss.

I’ve observed something here.

When it’s time to “stan”, everyone says we love Wizkid.

”When it’s time for help, they forget Wizkid and run to Davido.”

Fans of both artistes attempted to defend their favourites with points about their characters and lifestyles

@dat_deltagirl; Wizkid is a private person and when he helps someone he expects them to keep it private as well. Money can’t buy true love, besides some persons might be taking advantage of Davido’s kinda person (he likes social media and can easily help when he is tagged to a post on SM)
