Nigerians react as comedians, Taooma, Josh2funny, Woli Agba, others pay VP Osinbajo a visit in Abuja with Mr. Macaroni absent. (Photos)
Some Nigerian skit makers, including Taooma, Josh2funny, Woli Agba, and others, paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja today, November 3, and this has gotten people talking on social media.
The comedians, who are members of an association called Nigeria Skits Industry Awards (NSIA), were led by its promoter, Bimbo Daramola.
During the visit, Osinbajo applauded their talents and creativity, while stating that no comedian anywhere in the world is as funny as Nigerian comedians.

Speaking in a statement released by his spokesman, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo said,
“I strongly believe that what our young people are doing and what they are capable of is what will lead our country to where we are meant to be.
The future is not tomorrow. It is already here and we can see it from just everything you are doing, the global acclaim that you are getting; young people like yourselves, doing something good.
I think that we have incredible talent and we must do something about it, to enable these talents and we must ask ourselves questions on setting realistic goals that can enable these talents flourish.
I must say that just based on the sheer creativity around this, I don’t think that anybody anywhere is as funny as Nigerian comedians.
However, the visit has stirred mixed reactions on social media as netizens slam the comedians for visiting the vice president.
Some also pointed out that comedian and activist, Mr Macaroni, was not part of the delegates and commended him for it.
