Nigerian singer, Oxlade receives ‘Best Alternative Act 2021’ award

Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman popularly known as Oxlade has won the Best Alternative Act at 2021 Gbedu Awards.

Gbedu awards which is one of the most popular indigenous music award shows in Nigeria, held virtually on Friday, 26th of February 2021 and Oxlade emerged one of the big winners.

The singer took to his official Twitter account to make the announcement, while thanking his fans and the award organisers.

The ”Away” crooner shared photos of himself holding the plaque and dedicated it to fans.

He wrote;

”Special appreciation to the @thisgbedu family, for recognizing me as the “BEST ALTERNATIVE ACT 2021” I’m extremely overwhelmed by the constant love and support y’all have shown to me over time.. @TheOxygenes this one is for you.”
