”Leave me to rest na” – Viral ex-corper who is still searching for job pleads as social media users keep using him as meme reference
A Nigerian man who went viral some years ago after a photo of him shouting committedly during parade at the NYSC orientation camp surfaced online, has pleaded with social media users to stop using him as a meme.
The ex-corp member identified as Umar Ibrahim Umar, became a viral sensation in 2018 while serving in Bauchi state.
A Twitter influencer simply known as Mbah, had taken to the micro-blogging platform and shared the viral photo of Umar with the caption; ”When you open your Nysc kit and see gun instead of torchlight”

In response, the young man begged social media users to stop using him as meme. He then asked Nigerians to help him get a job.
Umar quoted the tweet and responded; ”You people should leave me to rest nah”
He added; ”Somebori should tag all those pipu wit political ambition to gimme correct job nah! LOL”
