ITALIAN GRANDMOTHER, 95, RECOVERS FROM CORONAVIRUSA 95-year-old grandmother has praised the medical staff who treated her after she became the oldest Covid-19 patient to recover from the disease.

Clinicians confirmed Alma Clara Corsini’s body showed a “great reaction” to the contagious infection – with the pensioner having already returned home.

Alma, from Fanano in the Italian province of Modena, began showing signs of the new strain of coronavirus on March 5 before being taken to hospital.

Speaking to Gazzetta Di Modena from her hospital bed she said: “Yes, yes, I’m fine.
