“I’m being paid to be a housemaid” – Husband Cries Out As Wife Makes Him Do House Chores

A Nigerian man with the Twitter handle, @MaxOfLagos has shared his story on how his wife turned him into a housemaid.

According to the man, his smart wife introduced chore penalties into the house where a person would have to pay a penalty of $20 when they fail to complete their assigned task by the end of the day.

The young man disclosed that he noticed that his wife has been refusing to do herchores despite being the one who proposed the idea. He finally came to a realization that his wife intentionally initiated the idea to make him do the chores.

“Wife and I have chore penalties: pay $20 for failing to complete an assigned task on the day. This was her idea, but the overwhelming majority of the breaches have been by her. It has now occurred to me that I’m being paid to be a maid because she doesn’t mind the fines at all

While others were advising him to increase the penalty in order to make his wife pay more, he tweeted back, “Some of you have asked me to lobby for the fine to be increased. I can barely afford the current one, will you help me pay when I get caught out?”
