#EndSARS: Video of heavy police presence at Lekki toll gate
A video which is circulating online shows heavy presence of armed police officers at the Lekki tollgate.
The officers were deployed to the toll gate on Monday, October 11 ahead of the planned #EndSARS anniversary protest.
Police trucks were spotted parked on one side of the ever-busy road.

CorrectNG reported earlier that Lagos state police command had warned residents of the state against staging an #EndSARS anniversary protest.
A statement released by Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu said; “The police in the state will not fold their arms and allow some misguided elements disrupt the peace and serenity currently being enjoyed in the state. To forestall breakdown of law and order, the police will use all legitimate means within their constitutional powers to suppress the planned protest.”
When contacted about the heavy security presence, state police spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, who confirmed the development, said he is not certain when the police presence would end.
