Boy drowns, body goes missing at Eleko beach after people failed to help thoughts he knows how to swim (Video)

An unfortunate incident recently occurred at a beach in Eleko, Lagos state as a young boy drowned while taking a swim.

In a video obtained by CorrectNG, the boy could be seen struggling to stay above sea level as people watched on thinking that he knows how to swim.

The sad incident took place yesterday and it came as a huge shock to eyewitnesses as many thought he knew how to swim until the tides took him far into the water.

When fun-seekers realised that the boy was in distress, some jumped in to try and rescue him, but it was already late as his body as nowhere to be found.
