Architect shares heartbreaking story of his encounter with a child hawker who slept off at his site

A Nigerian architect, has taken to social media to share heart-wrenching post on how a child was sent out to hawk in the hot afternoon and how it touched him.

The man known as Meka, uploaded photos of the exhausted child hawker who slept off at the site where he works.

He condemned the fact that the kid was sent out under the scorching sun to hawk bananas immediately after arriving home from school.

According to the young man, he felt pity for the underage kid, so he told him to go in and lie down.

Sharing the pictures, Meka wrote;

”Saw this kid sleeping right in front of my site on a block besides his banana. Woke him and ask him to go lay inside. He said he just returned from school before asked to hawk. this is really wrong”

Really feel bad when I see underage kids hawking. Says alot about their parents cowardly pushing their responsibility to kids rather than do it themselves.

Yetunde30287177; Growing up myself and my mom went tru hell. she sell anything sellable, she will hawk in the morning and evening so she could feed and send me to sch. She Never for once put anything on my head to hawk NEVER. she said, her child will not go tru what she went tru. Blame d parents
