Soldiers killed as bandits attack Nigerian Defence Academy
Gunmen suspected to be bandits have invaded the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna, killing three officers and abducting several others.
An eyewitness who works at the NDA, told Peoples Gazette that the incident occurred overnight on Tuesday.
The witness said three soldiers were killed and several officers, including at least two majors, were abducted.
DAILY POST reports that the assailants stormed the military base in large numbers.

One of the kidnapped officers’ is identified as Major Datong, while Lieutenant Commander Wulah and Flight Lieutenant CM Okoronkwo were shot dead.
Another officer, second Lieutenant Onah sustained a gunshot injury and is currently receiving treatment.
Nigerian Army spokesman did not immediately return a request seeking comments as at presstime.
