US First Lady Melania Trump on Tuesday called for the dismissal of Mira Ricardel, the deputy national security adviser to President Donald Trump.
It was learned that the first lady quarrelled with Ricardel during her tour of Africa in October.
Mrs Trump and Ricardel reportedly fell out over seating arrangements on her plane.
“It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that she no longer deserves the honour of serving in this White House,” her spokeswoman said.
At the time of this report, the White House and the National Security Council had yet to comment.
Mrs Trump’s call came amid US media reports that her husband was considering a shake up in the White House West Wing.
Concise News understands that Trump may be considering removing White House Chief of Staff John Kelly or Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
